POSTER - AUTHENTIC LEARNING

The dynamics of education has always been welded to politics in such a way that it channels the status quo in preparing the mindset of the masses. When the status quo is an acceptable type of democracy, it allows you to use the historical past as a means to establish a new future of possibilities. The education of the nation must not serve to overwhelm the historical past but, it must show how in an objective sense how the past made the future happen. Therefore, an education system that does not allow for this progression to develop will eventually become irrelevant because, education is the keystone to human progression from being uncivilised to being civilised.

Assalamu alykum

My name is Farzaana Ebrahim khota and I have matriculated in the year 2006 at Roshnee Islamic School.

With the greatest help of Allah (S.W.T),Mr Abdullah Sujee and my parents they have changed in my life from darkness to light = succeeded.

Mr Sujee, has a one of the most prominent personality and it is a kind of personality where it is not easily for one to adopt. He is the one who has given me personlly the courage,strength,spirit,perseverance,determination, guidance and advises.I took it by the bull by it's horns and I am still achieving my goals with his help,parents and Allah(S.W.T).

I can still recall my self back in time in grade 10 when we had to do an "audio presentation,I was shivering and it was eating my brains of as how will I do it.?" I was nagging and moaning to my parents about it. My mother came to me and told me that "Put the trust in Allah and surely you will managed it and my father had stood besides me and gave the courage and assistance and I rememberd the words what Mr Sujee had gave us "Work without complain".

With all the advices and assistance it wasn't difficult for me to changed my old habits and coming to the new one.If you have that mindset that you want to change and making a difference in your life remember Allah, make du'aa and seek assistance from your guardins and teachers .

I had started to make a huge potential in my family,relatives,community and studies with the help of Mr Sujee,parents and Allah(S.W.T)

If Mr Sujee wasn't here for me for my studies I wouldn't have the courage and determination my life would be a total depair.

May Allah grant him long,healthy and properity life. May He also grant him success in all his affairs.Ameen.

I would like to comment that after going through the site on "Unity in Diversity" you have intruded, inspired,motivated and encouraged me personally.

I would like to express my gratitude towards you. Jazakallah once again for everything you have done for me for all the greatest hard work and efforts you have put me to suucceed.

You are the only one and my parents who has given me the greatest potentials in life and it is benefitting me in all my affairs in whatever I am doing in life.
